Did you know our bodies store emotions until they are processed and released? The body needs a way to release built up, unprocessed emotions. Otherwise, it won't have capacity to continue adapting to everything that comes its way.  A build-up often leads to chronic pain, fatigue, and disease.

At Find a Third Way, we offer a kind and safe space that allows your body the opportunity to release and move through emotions so you experience a more capable and healthy you!

ABOUT

Supporting You as You Navigate The Challenges of This World

Hello, my name is Monica! (she/her) I'm the founder of Find a Third Way. I live in the Midwest and practice on the land of the Kaw/Kansa, Osage, Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, and Kiikaapoi Tribes.

My background is in organizational leadership, and I spent 11 years in a variety of sectors using those skills. A few years ago, I transitioned into a new career as a trauma-informed wellness practitioner. I have expertise and training in narrative focused trauma care and certifications as a Somatic Stress Release® Practitioner and Trauma Support Specialist.

The definition of trauma I operate from is anything that...

"The body, not the thinking brain, is where we experience most of our pain, pleasure, and joy, and where we process most of what happens to us. It is also where we do most of our healing, including our emotional and pyschological healing. And it is where we experience resilience and a sense of flow."
